How Do We Know Who is Funding These New Political Action Agencies?

Crossroads GPS is a new actor in the struggle to trick voters into voting against their own interest. These groups came about because the Supreme Court allowed groups to be able to secretly influence elections. They have this bizarre notion that corporations are the same as people and therefore deserve the protections of speech. Plus the inept Democratically controlled Senate could not pass a campaign finance law. I mean who would actually vote to increase classroom size in schools, cut taxes on the rich, eliminate regulations on polluters, and let people's houses burn down because they did not pay a fee unless they were scared or fooled. Now these extremely rich "people" are putting up their money for smearing Democrats. They are using corporate dollars to distort the record and make up facts.

Who is the real person behind these advertisements? No one knows and there is no way to find out. How do we know that terrorists are not contributing to these organizations like Crossroads GPS? How do we know that foreign nationals are not trying to influence our elections? How do we know that ex-cons like Jack Abramoff, any cold blooded killer, Michael Vick or Bob Ney did not put in money into funding these groups. What about sex offenders who may be funding these campaigns. Pornographers? Casinos? Or Escort Services?

Anyway, if they won't tell us who is funding these groups then we can only assume that they must be shady characters running from law? Right? That makes sense?
