Senator Purdue Should be Censured by Congress

If there was any justice in the world Senator David Purdue of Georgia would be censured by the Congress for this prayer today.  Here is the majority of the Psalm that the Senator quoted. 
   Thus they have repaid me evil for good
            And hatred for my love.
      6Appoint a wicked man over him,
            And let an accuser stand at his right hand.
      7When he is judged, let him come forth guilty,
            And let his prayer become sin.
      8Let his days be few;
            Let another take his office.
      9Let his children be fatherless
            And his wife a widow.
      10Let his children wander about and beg;
            And let them seek sustenance far from their ruined homes.
      11Let the creditor seize all that he has,
            And let strangers plunder the product of his labor.

This is just evil to use in the context of the elected leader of the United States.  This is disrespectful of the millions of Christians who voted for this President.  Does the esteemed Senator realize that this is red meat to the extremists in our society especially the religious extremists at this conference.  This is an example of how one side is allowed to use religion as a weapon while the other side would be condemned for such talk.  Imagine if Harry Reid had said this same prayer for George W. Bush in 2008.  There would have been a riot, and no one would have thought it was funny.   It is shocking how the Republican party has divided this country.
