Top Five Countries President Trump Will Invade

Donald J. Trump is a braggart who does not know how to shut up.  He is the opposite of diplomatic and has never met nuance.  There is no doubt if elected he would keep the military busy with incursions into other countries.  Here are my top five countries that we will invade in a Trump Administration

1. Mexico (obviously).  His entire campaign has revolved around building the wall and having Mexico pay for it.  This would never ever happen, but it was the cornerstone of his campaign.  So as not to look like the "Read My Lips" Presidency of George HW Bush, he will have to invade to get the money for the wall.   How many Central American Countries will come to their defense?  In fact, how many European Countries will come to the defense of Mexico? Spain? Portugal?

2.  Cuba.  They will most likely side with Mexico, but will be also be looked at for all the American property stolen by Castro in the 1950s.  Trump can return all those hotels, casinos and private development taken in the Revolution.  Cuba will have no chance and Russia will not want to intervene with a fellow strong man in power.  They will be viewed as another country without much power that can be taken for its resources by Trump.

3. Iran.  The conservatives have been trying to get us in Iran since 1980, but they have never had this level of isolationism and short shortsightedness in the White House.  At least, in the W administration there was Colin Powell and others to put on the brakes when Cheney was pushing for All War All the Time.  Iran would be next on the list as retaliation for hostages; giving St. Reagan a bad name with Iran Contra, and signing the agreement with Obama to reduce the nuclear threat.  They would be number 2 if they did not have such a well developed military as a deterrent.

4. North Korea.  This is such a bizarre country that anything is possible at anytime.  It is a dangerous situation with an unpredictable leader at the helm of a nuclear nation in both North Korea and the United States.  Trump would not stand for a small country on the verge of starvation fronting one of our battleships or finding out that North Korea had hacked one of our precious corporations.  Trump would make the gamble that their population would rise up to avoid starving before the government sent their nuclear weapon onto their neighbors.   This is a risky bet.  Trump is so America centered what would he care if Japan or South Korea were bombed after we level Pyongyang?

5. China.  This is tough to pick the fifth war in a Trump administration, but the North Korea invasion would necessitate China retaliating.  They would demand payment on their debt and economic sanctions for this aggression.  Trump already spoke about how bad our trade deals are with China and he would have to respond.  China could bankrupt the United States, and there is no world bankruptcy court to hide assets as Trump has regularly used.  He would be forced to respond with a series of tit for tat series of incursions into the China Sea in an effort to get out of his debt problem.

There are so many others that could be part of this War Presidents target list including Saudi Arabia for the Muslim ban, Egypt for the Muslim ban and instability, Libya for Benghazi, Panama to get the Canal back, Scotland for declaring independence, or Iraq for withdrawing our troops too soon in a war that he allegedly (and quietly) opposed.  One wrong word or one wrong slight and these unstable countries will respond.   This will force the Paper Tiger to have to retaliate.  I have no doubt that the US will be engaged in multiple wars with Trump as Commander and Chief.
